Muslim fury at pope jihad comments
Well, here's a little 'sneak preview' I suppose, to what this whole instance sparks.
17:15 He said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.
17:16 The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.
17:17 For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.
17:18 The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth."
It Will All Find It's Way In Time.

A wildfire can be seen raging in the hills over the town of St. Ignatius, Montana late Tuesday evening Sept. 5, 2006 on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Indian Reservation in Western Montana. Another fire in western montana near Big Timber has destroyed 26 homes and 20 other buildings, remained estimated at 180,000 acres, or more than 280 square miles. The lightning-sparked blaze had been spreading mostly to the east and the north before a wind shift last week sent firefighters and equipment scrambling back to the fire's western edge. I guess I can Unravel some Revelations, and show you how it's around in the Real World some more. There's a lot. Like this one:
12:11 They didn't love their life, even to death.
Suicide Bombers
That particular instance was thwarted, but that Revelation is about suicide bombers in general. There's so many of them around these days. And they don't love their lives, even to Death.
Really, the whole thing has been unraveling, and is currently unraveling, and will continue to unravel.
I'll show you some bit by bit. There's so much happening so fast, the Revelations are the Map of These Times.
If you'd like to read the map, it's in the Bible. Also, you can find The Revelations on the Internet too.
God is just the Most Amazing Anything - look at how precise and Prism Perfect all of this whole Grand Finale is unfolding before our eyes.
And of course, those 4 Horsemen (4 Elements) are just twisting and turning all over the place.
"The Prostitute" (America) Whored herself all over the world, and she's getting 'utterly burned with Fire, for the Lord God who Judged her is Strong'.
Really, those 4 Elements are all over the place. Fires, Hurricanes, Floods, and every type of Elemental Mix you can imagine, they're Rocking and Rolling.
Exactly how the Revelations say they would, and how they say they Will.
It was Promised, and so it is.
Enjoy the Show.
(CNN) -- Pope Benedict XVI came under a hail of criticism from the Islamic world Friday for comments he made earlier in the week regarding the Prophet Mohammed and the Muslim faith, in some cities provoking street protests.
A growing chorus of Muslim leaders have called on the pope to apologize for the remarks he made in a speech in Germany on Tuesday when he used the terms "jihad" and "holy war."
Pakistan's National Assembly, parliament's lower house, unanimously passed a resolution on Friday condemning the pope's comments.
Muslim protesters shouted slogans against the pontiff at a rally in Jammu, India. And in Cairo, about 100 demonstrators gathered in an anti-Vatican protest outside the capital's al-Azhar mosque.
Meanwhile a youth center run by the Greek Orthodox church in the Gaza Strip was slightly damaged by a small explosion on Friday, witnesses told Reuters.
It was unclear if the blast was connected to the pope's comments.
In his speech, Benedict quoted 14th-century Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus who said, "Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."
Before quoting Paleologus during his address at the University of Regensburg on Tuesday, the pontiff noted the "brusqueness," or discourteous nature of the emperor's statement.
"God," the emperor, as the pope quoted, said, "is not pleased by blood -- and not acting reasonably is contrary to God's nature."
"The pope's statements come to add fuel to fire and trigger anger within the Muslim world and show that the West with its politicians and clerics are hostile to Islam."
Condemnation also came from Turkey where Benedict is scheduled to visit in November.
"His words are extremely regrettable, worrying and unfortunate in terms of the Christian world and common peace of humanity," the Anatolian state news agency quoted Ali Bardakoglu, the head of Ankara's Directorate General for Religious Affairs, as saying.
"I do not see any use in somebody visiting the Islamic world who thinks in this way about the holy prophet of Islam."
According to Lombardi, Benedict's speech was "a warning, addressed to Western culture, to avoid 'the contempt for God and the cynicism that considers mockery of the sacred to be an exercise of freedom.'"

Progress also in Washington blaze, but high winds feared at California fire
LIVINGSTON, Mont. - Strong winds that had caused a fire in an area popular with celebrities to nearly triple in size shifted Thursday and helped slow the blaze’s growth, allowing some residents who had evacuated to return.
The wind shifted “pushing the fire back onto itself, which is a good thing,” said fire information officer Kathy Thompson.
The fire grew to 32,000 acres, or about 50 square miles, as of Thursday evening and had destroyed two cabins and one shop in the Burris Flat area, Thompson said. On Wednesday, winds helped grow the fire to 27,400 acres, or nearly 43 square miles.
45-year high
Wildfires across the country have scorched more land in 2006 than in any year since at least 1960, burning an area twice the size of New Jersey.
But the flames have mainly raced across sparsely populated desert, causing fewer firefighter deaths than in previous years.
Federal officials attributed the increase to two consecutive seasons of hot and dry weather that left forest and ranges parched and easily ignited by lightning.
Fifteen federal, state and local firefighters have died this year battling wildland fires. The worst single accident this year was a helicopter crash Aug. 13 in Idaho that killed three firefighters and the pilot.
The 2006 acreage was skewed by unusually large early season range fires in Texas and Oklahoma — blazes that burned mainly sparsely populated areas and did not lead to large numbers of deaths or heavy damage to homes.
The Interior Department and the U.S. Forest Service have spent about $1.25 billion fighting the fires since the fiscal 2006 year began last Oct. 1.
Lane nears hurricane strength in Mexico
MEXICO CITY - Tropical Storm Lane neared hurricane strength Friday as it roared toward the tip of the Baja California Peninsula, lashing Mexico's Pacific coast and flooding port cities.
The Mexican government issued a hurricane warning for the southern tip of the peninsula and the Islas Marias, an island prison colony.
A hurricane watch was in effect along the Pacific coast from Manzanillo to La Cruz, 170 miles south of the resort of Puerto Vallarta, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami.
Lane's maximum sustained winds were near 70 mph with higher gusts, and it was expected to grow into a hurricane later Friday. The threshold for hurricane status is sustained winds of 74 mph.
Lane was already causing flooding in the port city of Lazaro Cardenas, where more than 500 people were evacuated from their homes after a canal overflowed, the government news agency Notimex reported.
Earlier, Lane dumped rain and whipped up waves in Acapulco, where authorities closed the port to small boats and shut down schools Friday across the state of Guerrero. Streets were covered in up to 16 inches of water — including the beachside Costera Miguel Aleman, which runs past many luxury hotels.
USA TODAY weather focus: 'Severe storms return to the Plains, Midwest'
The Storm Prediction Center has placed parts of the central USA under a slight risk for severe weather today, Saturday and Sunday. Damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible in parts of the Plains and Midwest through the weekend.
The three main varieties of risks -- from this Storm Prediction Center info page -- are based on the expected number and intensity of severe thunderstorm reports over an area: A slight risk implies well-organized severe thunderstorms are expected but in small numbers and/or low coverage. Within a slight risk area, 5-29 reports of 1 inch of larger hail, and/or 3-5 tornadoes, and/or 5-29 wind events are forecast.
Moderate risks imply a greater concentration of severe thunderstorms, and in most situations, greater magnitude of severe weather. Within a moderate risk area, at least 30 reports of hail 1 inch or larger, or 6-19 tornadoes, or numerous wind events (30 that might be associated with a squall line, bow echo or derecho) are forecast.
The high risk area almost always means a major severe weather outbreak is expected, with great coverage of severe weather and enhanced likelihood of extreme severe (i.e., violent tornadoes or extreme convective wind events over a large area). Within a high risk area, expect at least 20 tornadoes with at least 2 of them rated F3+, or an extreme derecho causing 50+ widespread wind events (50+) with numerous higher end wind (80+ mph) and structural damage reports.
Hurricane Lane heading toward Baja
CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico - Tropical Storm Lane became a Category 1 hurricane Friday as it roared toward the tip of the Baja California Peninsula, lashing Mexico's Pacific coast, flooding port cities and causing a landslide that killed a 7-year-old boy.
The Mexican government issued a hurricane warning for the southern tip of the peninsula, the prison colony of Islas Marias and a 175-mile stretch of coast on the mainland that included the resort of Mazatlan.
The hurricane had maximum sustained winds near 80 mph and was expected to strengthen. At 5 p.m. EDT, it was 280 miles southeast of the resort of Cabo San Lucas, moving northwest at 9 mph.
Lane was following the roughly the same path as Hurricane John, which raked Mexico's Pacific coast early this month before slamming into Baja California, killing five people and damaging 160 homes.
Lane was already causing flooding in the port city of Lazaro Cardenas in the central state of Michoacan, where more than 500 people were evacuated from their homes after a canal overflowed, officials said.
Earlier, the storm dumped rain and whipped up waves in Acapulco. Officials said a 7-year-old boy was killed late Thursday in a landslide caused by the heavy rains. Authorities rescued three fisherman whose boat capsized but they were still looking for the captain, state officials said.
About 200 homes were flooded in Acapulco, and officials closed the port to small boats and shut down schools Friday across the state of Guerrero. Streets were covered in up to 16 inches of water — including the beachside Costera Miguel Aleman, which runs past many luxury hotels.
There was also some flooding at the Acapulco airport, although service was not interrupted.
In the Atlantic, meanwhile, Hurricane Gordon was downgraded to a Category 1 storm, while Tropical Storm Helene strengthened. Both storms were far out to sea and posed no immediate threat to land, forecasters said.
Gordon's top sustained winds were near 90 mph, down 10 mph from earlier in the day, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami. At 5 p.m. EDT, it was nearly stationary and about 670 miles east of Bermuda.
Helene had top sustained winds near 70 mph, up from 45 mph earlier in the day, and could become a hurricane, forecasters said. It was about 1,255 miles east of the Leeward Islands and moving west-northwest near 15 mph.
